While there are other concrete coatings companies in central Iowa we believe that we have key qualities that make us stand out. We are a local and an employee-owned company. Team members become owners of the company which brings greater care and efficiency while also retaining quality work. Instead of training new help every year, our team continues to hone in their craft. We are not a franchise. While regional and national brands charge more for their marketing budgets, we offer a quality product and service without the “big company” feel. We don’t use subcontractors. All of our team members are a part of the company.

Any interior or exterior space with a concrete floor! Garages, basements, patios, porches, pool decks, sidewalks, and more. We can also coat wood and metal like floor drains and steps.

For the most part, yes! While we can’t do outdoor projects in pouring rain or when snow falls, we can apply our coatings in the heat of summer and the cold of winter. Typically, we can do garage floors in the winter as long as it’s above 10ºF and keep the same amount of curing time.

It all depends on the environment. We tend to use polyurea in most cases because of its curing time and flexibility with settling concrete. Industrial grade epoxy and urethanes are great for certain environments like factories and using a hybrid epoxy that deals with areas with very high moisture can be the best choice. We never recommend using the cheap epoxy kits from the big box stores as they don’t have the long term durability.

Yes! We use polyaspartic as our top coat in all of our residential projects. It’s UV stable and very strong against impact and traffic.

Many home projects can be, but it usually comes down to cost, time, and technique. While the initial cost of doing your own garage floor coating may be cheaper, it may not have the proper technique of installation or material quality which likely end with a shorter lifespan on the floor and more cost to have it redone by a professional in the future. It will most certainly take more time as we take a full day with a crew with a fully stocked trailer.

A: It depends on the size and scope of the project. A typical two or three car garage can most certainly be done in one day, followed by two days of curing. A 3,000 ft2 shop may take 2-3 days.

Yes, they are. We recommend using dawn dish soap and warm water for cleaning, but you can also use Simple Green, Pinesol, and light bleach mixes depending on the substance to clean off.

Our 15 year residential warranty covers adhesion. We assess every request in a timely manner and all warranty work covers labor and materials. We also have a 20 year transferable warranty upgrade. Our commercial warranty is lower in years, but it can depend on the use of the space.

We cannot commit to firm pricing over the phone as every area can have certain factors that need to be accounted for in person such as spalling, cracks, and existing coatings to remove. However, we can give pricing to those moving into a newly constructed home as the variables are low.

We have 18 standard colors and several hybrid and terrazzo stone blends on hand. However, we can create unlimited blends from our manufacturer who has hundreds of colors and blends.
